ABOUT US

Medistim New Zealand was established in February 2008, to import, market and distribute the Alpha-Stim range of medical devices.

The opportunity arose after importing an AS-100 in 2007, after much research and strong recommendations from other family who work in mental health and were familiar with the success of the medical devices in Australia. Our principle has been a board member of Action for Mental Health Society since 2005, and is very aware of the limitations of  current treatment options. 

After our experience, we strongly believe that all New Zealanders should be provided with the opportunity to have access to an alternative treatment such as the Alpha-Stim medical devices, hence this site and our supporting activities.

We are supported in this endeavour by the Authorised Australasian Distributor - Pacific Medistim Distributors Pty Ltd. and the developer and manufacturer Electromedical Products International Inc.

We share the offices of Costello Financial Services and are grateful to their assistance. By doing this we are minimising our overheads to keep the cost of medical devices as low as possible.

We use some devices for demonstrations to groups of medical professionals and others. These are replaced regularly, and the old demonstration devices will be given to selected non-profit organisations, charities or hospices who can use them with patients/clients.
