Precautions

Precautions and Contraindications:-

May affect the operation of cardiac pacemakers (particularly demand type pacemakers).

Do not use immediately before or during operation of potentially dangerous machinery or vehicles and in some cases for many hours after treatment.

Consultation with a health care professional is recommended for difficult or unresponsive problems or when used in conjunction with pharmaceuticals or other therapeutic interventions.

Not recommended for use by patients with known heart disease without a physician's evaluation.

There have been isolated reports of blood pressure being lowered by CES, so care should be taken while using it with high blood pressure medication.

Do not stimulate directly over the eyes or over the carotid sinus (upper side of neck, below the ear and behind the jaw).

Safety of stimulation has not been established during pregnancy.
