All transactions conducted with Medistim New Zealand are processed via SSL for your privacy and security, the information is then passed on and processed by the National Bank.
You can confirm that your browser is in secure mode in the Payment Page (after the shipping and tax selection page) by looking for the padlock icon in the bottom right corner of your browser window.

International Orders

For International orders please contact us. New Zealand GST that is shown included in our prices is not applicable. To calculate the GST content divide the price by 9 (NZ GST is 12.5 %) and subtract that from the price. We will advise the shipping cost.

SHIPPING POLICY

Our shipping and handling charges are included in the price quoted in the Freight section (NZ only) unless otherwise stated.

We will contact you by e-mail or telephone in the event of a delay or problem with the shipment of your order. Once your order has shipped from us or our suppliers it cannot be canceled and must be returned in compliance with our normal returns policy. Shipping charges are not refundable once an order has shipped.

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable for any reason (except where the return is the fault of the shipping company or us), you will be charged both outbound and inbound freight, as well as for shipping the product again to a different address.

Your order will be dispatched within in 1-3 working days and allow up to 5 days for your order to arrive. Allow extra time if your order has to be shipped as dangerous goods. If we do not have stock of an ordered product it may take 1-2 days extra. For items we cannot supply within standard shipping times due to a lack of availibility we will ask you if you wish to place it on back order or have your money refunded or credited.

Medistim New Zealand Ltd will dispatch orders as quickly as possible. We have no control over carrier companies.

Medistim will not be responsible for any liability arising from a delayed shipment. Once items have been dispatched from Medistim New Zealand Ltd they are considered delivered. Insurance after delivery, is the purchasers liability.

If your purchase is damaged during shipment please immediately advise us, the carrier & your Insurance Company. Our selected carrier, NZ Post, does provide some insurance cover for loss or damage due to thier actions. Medistim will where possible act on the purchasers behalf when Items are lost or damaged during shipment but assumes no liability for the damage.

RETURNS POLICY

We want you to be happy with your purchase. We therefore prefer that you try your medical device through your medical professional before purchase. They can arrange for a 30 day free trial - by completeing and sending us this form

If you decide to purchase a medical device directly from Medistim New Zealand, we will provide a 30 day money back guarantee, if you decide to return it for any reason, complete with its original packaging and accessories, less a fee to cover handling, transportation and refurbishment costs (minimum 15% or more if items damaged).

If you are dissatisfied after the 30 day period, you may return goods for exchange or a credit note only at our discretion. Some products such as consummables, that have been opened, may not be returned or exchanged. (Refunds are not given except in exceptional cases)

- Returns will NOT be accepted without a receipt or proof of purchase.

- Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of the shipping date

- Delivery Costs are at the expense of the customer.

- Before returning ANY item, you must first obtain shipping instructions from us.

NOTE: Some items may not be returned, these include consumables specially ordered products and customized products.

Return Conditions

UNOPENED items can be returned for a full credit (less a shipping and handling fee) within 30 days of the shipping date.

OPENED items can not be sent back for exchange unless prior agreement has arranged

All products returned MUST be 100 percent complete, contain ALL original boxes and packing materials, contain all manuals, blank warranty cards, other accessories, and documentation provided by the manufacturer. Returns not meeting this standard may be refused and returned to you at your expense, or accepted and assessed there maybe a processing or refurbishment fee, at our discretion.

Shipping and handling charges are NOT refundable

We reserve the right to authorize returns beyond 30 days under special circumstances. If the product is authorized for return beyond 30 days, a minimum 15% processing fee will be charged.

If items on orders are cancelled after they have been shipped, shipping and handling charges cannot be refunded.

Before you ship your package to us, please include inside the return package a copy of your invoice received with your package to ensure proper credit. We will credit you the purchase price of the product shown on the invoice, less any applicable fees.

For your protection, be sure to ship your return via registered post.

Customer is responsible for shipping and handling charges on returned items.

Allow sufficient time for your return to be delivered to us (typically 4 days).

Warranty & Defective Product Returns

Your Alpha Stim unit (not battery or accessories) carries a 5 year warranty with the manufacturers. You must register the product as soon as possible upon receipt. Please note that non-defective products are not refundable and you should check with your doctor to check that the Alpha Stim is suitable for you to use prior to purchase.

All defective products will be sent to the manufacturer / supplier / technician for assessment. Please contact us for Replacement or Repair of defective products.
